@Build/Make/Craft/Bake: I’ve wanted to try making hammered leaf/flower prints, but I had no idea that they could come out this well!  Gorgeous.

@Flipflops and Applesauce: I’m looking forward to trying this game with my kids.  We used these fun little balls for pinata fillers last summer and have a few lying around.  (contemplating adapting it to an indoor game, though, since it’s been so beautifully rainy lately!)

@TipNut: Would like to try this recipe for homemade veggie wash.  I know what’s on the goodies from my garden (and it’s not so pretty), but the apples we buy at the store?  Hmmm.

@Sycamore Stirrings: I had no idea that you could make these pretty little curls out of dandelion stems, but goodness knows we’ve got plenty of them to entertain ourselves with!

@Small Notebook: I love giving ‘consumable’ gifts like tickets, zoo memberships, and other subscriptions, and here’s a great list of stuff-free kid gifts.

@Create Studio: Sarah shares a tutorial for sewing up a great hanging crib toy bag.  I’ve got to make one of these to hide the pacifiers when it’s not sleepy time!

@Rookie Moms: Whitney repurposed straws into simple beads for her necklace-loving kid to craft with.  Such simple fun!

@Craft Jr: An amazing tutorial on making your own cool little nightlight out of an upcycled drink mix container.

@Wool Pets: I’ve been fooling around with needle felting (I’ve done a few strawberries, they’re so round and easy!) and I’d like to try this little guy.

photo-tiles

@Remodeling This Life: I love this method for creating photo displays with leftover tiles.  So cute, and you can pick up single tiles at the hardware store for less than $1.

@SimpleMom: Tsh offers up 40 ideas to help you green up your lifestyle, including some I hadn’t considered, such as buying shade-grown coffee.  (We do, but I was sort of oblivious to the obvious environmental benefit).

@Little Birdie Secrets: Tons of great ideas for teacher gifts just in time for the end of our school year.  I need to get creative with these!
