Happy Birthday to Kiddio!
About a year ago my stunningly amazing husband Joshie left town for the never-ending-business-trip (he was gone off and on for more than four months) and I sat down with my laptop and started up my little blog. It was just what I needed and the connections I made with my readers (as though anyone would really care what I’m up to! Really?!) and other amazing crafty bloggers carried me through some long days. Heck, I needed something to write about and that motivated me to really spend time working with the kids on things that they were interested in–even when I was really too worn out to feel like it. So a year later, I’ve realized that this is an important part of my life as a mother and I needed to respect the place that it has. So I switched from Blogger to WordPress (if you have no idea what this means, it doesn’t really matter–it’s just a lot of work!) and here’s my new setup. Poke around a little bit, but know that it’s not quite ready yet and I’ll have another post to really show you around in a few days.

Just got a new laptop with permission from Hubby. Very guilty pleasure because we really do live paycheck to paycheck. Hubby said that I need one for my writing- that he thinks I inspire people. (sniff, sniff!)
